THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE AWARDS -
NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!
2 April 2025: Communications Alliance, the peak body of the telecommunications industry, has announced the refreshed and relaunched Telecommunications Industry Excellence Awards, the 19th annual awards dinner hosted by Comms Alliance – with nominations now open across 10 award categories.
“The Telecommunications Industry Excellence Awards provides a fresh take on the telecoms industry’s night-of-nights – a celebration of the sector’s exceptional achievements across networks, products, customer service, and our contribution to society,” said Communications Alliance CEO Luke Coleman.
“The telecoms industry is constantly lifting our standards, so it is only appropriate that the TIE Awards will be, as the name suggests – a black-tie event.”
The Telecommunications Industry Excellence Awards will be presented on 24 July 2025 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, recognising outstanding achievements by telecoms operators, technology providers, satellite companies, and the broad range of participants in the vibrant Australian telco sector.
“Our refreshed award categories are designed to showcase the best our industry has to offer – from individuals who have gone above and beyond to uplift the customer experience, to companies delivering innovative products and services that make life better for all Australians,” Mr Coleman said.

- Innovation in Mobile
- Innovation in Networks, Products, and Technology (Large)
- Innovation in Networks, Products, and Technology (SME)

- Consumer Champion Award
- Contribution to Society
- Communications Ambassador
