2023 ACOMMS FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

Sydney, 15 June 2023: Communications Alliance is proud to announce the 2023 finalists in the communications industry’s premier awards for excellence, the ACOMMS, which recognise exemplary achievement across 13 categories of endeavour.

The 2023 ACOMM winners will be honoured at a gala dinner on the evening of 27 July at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, attended by the Federal Minister for Communications, The Hon. Michelle Rowland MP and the Shadow Minister for Communications, The Hon. David Coleman MP.  Minister Rowland will deliver a keynote address at the event.

The short-listed nominees in all award categories are a showcase of talent from across the sector, illustrative of the industry’s innovation to harness the benefits of next-generation networks, terrestrial and orbital connectivity solutions, transformed customer service approaches artificial intelligence and available-anywhere, advanced services and applications.

Communications Alliance CEO, John Stanton said: “the 2023 ACOMMs finalists powerfully reflect the changing face of the communications sector and the prominent areas of innovation and technological advancement driving that transformation.

“This year we received 42 nominations for the ACOMMs.  The judges have been very vocal about the quality of the initiatives from industry players, on which they are adjudicating.

The ACOMMs also are a showcase for community contribution by the sector and the drive to ensure greater diversity and inclusion within the workforce.

“There are great stories behind the commitment to excellence on display from all finalists. I congratulate and wish them well in the 2023 ACOMM Awards,” Mr Stanton said.
