How do I request the allocation of an EPID Code?
Details are described in G600:2002 Allocation of Eligible Party Identification Codes Industry Guideline. A pdf copy can be downloaded via the hyperlink below.
A summary of the process to apply for an EPID code is:
- Download the EPID Code Application Form.
- Fill in the form.
- If you have any questions about which segments to tick in the section titled “Industry Segments of Expected Activity”, then contact your account representative.
- If you have any questions about the section titled “Preferred Code Allocation”,Contact Us.
- Make sure the form is signed by an authorised person, then fax it to +612 9954 6136 or email it to info@commsalliance.com.au.
G600:2016 Allocation of Eligible Party Identification Codes
Defines the arrangements to allow Eligible Parties to apply for Communications Alliance Eligible Party Identification Codes and the Communications Alliance processes for the allocation and publication of those codes.
Revision
A minor revision was conducted in 2016 to add NBN related entities and segments, including associated changes to Appendix A. Included in this revision was some clarification to the issue and recovery of EPID Codes, as well as updating Code and Guideline references.
Reconfirmation
The Guideline was reconfirmed in 2023 and the next review is scheduled to occur in 2028.
