TCP Code Financial Hardship Obligations Replaced by New StandardThe new Telecommunications (Financial Hardship) Industry Standard 2024 commences on 29 March and replaces financial hardship-related obligations currently included in the TCP Code. ACMA Compliance Priorities 2024-25In a short submission to the ACMA on its 2024-25 compliance priority work program planning, CA has encouraged the ACMA to extend its educational initiatives to target both consumers and the industry, suggesting that such resources would assist with efficient analysis of gaps in regulatory (and educational) response, reducing the risk of new proposed instruments duplicating or conflicting with existing ones, and increasing the ability of all parties to consider where and why compliance with existing rules is problematic.
