2016 COMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY AWARDS OPEN FOR ENTRIES
Sydney, 22 February 2016 – Nominations have opened for the Australian communications industry’s premier awards, the ACOMMS, with 12 categories celebrating performance excellence in customer service, marketing, innovation and product solutions across the breadth of the telecommunications sector.The ACOMM Awards are jointly presented by Communications Alliance and Communications Day and recognise industry-leading achievements among communications sector players including individuals, service providers, content providers, carriers, technology partners, consultants and third party suppliers. Sponsors of the 2016 ACOMMS include Optus, Cisco, KPMG, amaysim and Bird & Bird.
This fabulous night will recognise those who excel in our industry. A new award category has been added this year to ensure that more industry segments will be rewarded. Not only will the spotlight be on those leading the way in customer service, community initiatives, satellite services, partnerships and innovation – the new category will for the first time include an award for IoT Innovation.

The Communications Ambassador Award continues to recognise an outstanding individual who has promoted the industry’s interests during the preceding year.
