Communications Alliance and Baker & McKenzie are presenting six seminars introducing topics relevant to the telecommunications industry.

Seminar two: Networks 101 on Tuesday 24 August 2010 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

This seminar is a basic introduction to the technical aspects of networks – fixed, mobile, wireless and satellite.

Greg Fidler, Executive Director of Digital Business Operations at Telstra will outline the basics of fixed voice, data and mobile networks.

John Stanton, CEO of Communications Alliance will outline satellite technologies and services.

Who Should Attend?

Communications Alliance members from business, commercial, legal and regulatory and network divisions. The Forums will be valuable in particular for professionals who have come into the telecommunications industry from other sectors, or for those working in the sector who may not be familiar with a particular topic.
