Communications Alliance and Baker & McKenzie present six seminars introducing topics relevant to the telecommunications industry.
Seminar one: Telecoms Regulation 101 on Tuesday 27 July 2010 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Chris Cheah, Acting Deputy Chair, Australian Communications and Media Authority and Baker & McKenzie speakers will cover:
- the requirement to hold a carrier licence;
- key carrier licence conditions;
- regulation of service providers;
- key commercial industry codes and the consequences of non‑compliance;
- consumer protection laws; and
- contracting models, including standard forms of agreement.
