Revision of the Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Code – call for nominations
Communications Alliance is seeking Expressions of Interest for representatives for the Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Revision Working Committee (WC29) which will be revising the Deployment of Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Industry Code (ACIF C564:2004).
Information packs and nomination forms for WC29 are available from our website or by contacting Communications Alliance. Nominations are requested by Friday 20 August.

Telco Academy Seminar #2 – Networks 101
The second in the series of the Telco Academy seminars, being run by Comms Alliance in conjunction with Baker & McKenzie, is to be held on Tuesday 24th August from 2pm to 4pm in Melbourne.
The Networks 101 seminar will provide a basic introduction to the technical aspects of networks – fixed, mobile, wireless and satellite.

NBN Wholesale Telephony Service Framework Published
Communications Alliance has published Release 1 of the NBN Wholesale Service Definition Framework - Telephony Access Service paper. It provides:
- a framework for the definition of a Wholesale Telephony Access Service that may be made available on the NBN and by other Wholesale Telephony Access Service Providers; and
- a description of the key capabilities to be specified in the Wholesale Telephony Access Service.
