New brochure on DSL services
A new XDSL provision from a DSLAM in a customer building brochure has been published to assist Service Providers when considering the provision of DSL services within customer premises from a DSLAM located in the premises. The brochure provides guidance on what rules need to be followed when providing DSL services on customer cabling to avoid potential interference issues with other services.

NBN Telephony Access Service draft released for public comment
The Wholesale Services working group has released its draft NBN Wholesale Service Description Framework – Telephony Access Service paper for public comment. The draft paper provides:
- a framework for the definition of a Wholesale Telephony Access Service that may be available on the NBN and potentially by other Wholesale Telephony Access Service Providers.
- a description of the key capabilities to be specified in the Wholesale Telephony Access Service.
Comments on the draft are due by Friday 25 June.

NBN Project Update
The End User Premises and Operational working groups and the Steering Committee will meet this week.
Interested members are invited to register for the project team, which will also provide full access to the NBN Wiki. Non-member organisations who have an interest in the NBN and meet the eligibility requirements for Communications Alliance membership can register as observers directly on the NBN Wiki.
