NBN Project Update
The Wholesale Services working group has reviewed the public comments on the draft NBN Wholesale Services Definition Framework – Ethernet paper and is preparing an initial release of the document.
The NBN Reference Model working group is convening a meeting of wireless and satellite stakeholders this week as part of its review of the received comments on the draft paper NBN Reference Model - High Level Architecture Options for the NBN.
Other working groups to meet this week are the Operational and End User Premises.
Interested members are invited to register for the Project Teams, which will also provide full access to the NBN Wiki. Non-member organisations who have an interest in the NBN and meet the eligibility requirements for Communications Alliance membership can register as observers directly on the NBN Wiki.

NBN Industry Connection #4 Forums
Planning is underway for the fourth series of NBN Industry Connection Forums to be held in early February 2010. The Forums will take place in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

Digital Broadcast Interfaces Industry Guideline available for public comment
We are seeking comments on the draft Digital Broadcast Interfaces Industry Guideline (DR G642:2009) released for public comment on 11 December 2009.
The draft Guideline describes the digital broadcast interface requirements in relation to the connection between a Carrier/Carriage Service Provider’s (C/CSP’s) Telecommunications Network and Broadcast Equipment or Broadcast Cabling. This Guideline complements and is based on Free TV Australia Engineering Guideline 08.
Public comment period closes at 5.00 p.m. on Friday 29th January 2010.
