Mobile Number Portability Code available for public comment

We are seeking comments on the draft Mobile Number Portability Code (DR C570:2009) being released for public comment on Tuesday 25 August 2009.

The draft Code defines the functional scope of mobile number portability and specifies processes for porting numbers. This revision aims to introduce processes for the efficient recovery of ported numbers involving multiple parties for return to the correct customer; and to remove references to CDMA technology in order to make the Code technology neutral.

Public comment period closes at 5.00 p.m. on Friday 25th September 2009.
