The Code establishes obligations for appropriate community safeguards and customer service requirements upon suppliers of Mobile Premium Services.

The aim of the reviews is to identify:

  • whether any process improvement is required, from operational experience in dealing with the Code or Guidelines;
  • any gaps in the Code or Guidelines;
  • clarifications that improve requirements;
  • whether the documents are meeting the needs of industry and the community satisfactorily;
  • acknowledgement of any existing service-specific barring requirements; and
  • expected impact of technology changes.
Comments received will be considered by representatives of stakeholders, to prepare a specific recommendation for Communications Alliance. The outcome of the review will be a decision to revise, reconfirm, vary or withdraw the Code or Guidelines.
